NOTICES 

A letter is being sent home today with our Y6 pupils regarding applying for a secondary school place. A copy of the letter can be found here.

Bookclub leaflets have now been sent home. Please ensure any orders are returned to the school office with payment by Friday 28th September.

Alliances

North Star Alliance

We are very proud to be members of North Star and Polaris Teaching School Alliances. North Star and Polaris formed a unique partnership in 2016 to support school improvement across North Yorkshire and work with around 70 primary schools in the region. Our collective aim is to improve outcomes for all children through a self-sustaining, dynamic system of school improvement and support across North Yorkshire and beyond 

 

Raise Alliance

We are part of the RAISE Alliance.  We are a group of small local schools working together to provide out children to best possible start.  The RAISE Alliance  is made up of eight schools; Whitley and Eggborough Community Primary School, Chapel Haddlesey Community Primary School, Hensall Community Primary School,  Barlow Church of England Primary School, Carlton-in-Snaith Community Primary School, Burton Salmon Community Primary School and Fairburn Community Primary School.

 

Doncaster Pyramid Group

As Kirk Smeaton C of E School is on the boarder of North Yorkshire, we have developed links with the Doncaster Authority schools as many of our young people continue their secondary education at Campsmount Academy.  The group consist of; Campsmount Academy, Norton Infants, Norton Juniors, Littlemoor Chrildrens Centre and Primary, Askern Spa  Junior School and Moss Road Primary.

 

 Yorkshire Anglican Teaching School

We are a strategic partner and work with 54 schools  from a range of faith and non-faith schools throughout Kirklees, Calderdale, Barnsley, Wakefield and North Yorkshire.  The Alliance was formed to support schools in order to provide high quality education and ensure progress for all pupils as well as delivering training and professional development for teachers, teachers of the future and leaders at all stages of their career.
