28/03/22    Walk for Ukraine

Dear children and adults,

I just wanted to say a huge thank you for the amazing contribution towards the Ukraine appeal - we have raised £3803.11 - I asked Mrs Maltby to confirm the amount of money raised as I thought she added an extra digit!! This is a massive achievement and you should all be so proud. We talk about cultural capital, equality for all, ending poverty and courageous advocacy all the time, and you have all shown this in abundance. This money will make such a difference to the people of Ukraine. THANK YOU!

In collective worship we have been learning about the seven habits of lent; to pray for others; to encourage others; to celebrate with and for others; to share with others; to reflect on our actions; to create opportunities and to rest to look after our bodies.

Everyone can help others with these habits in everyday life. Following these simple habits promotes all the values we talk about each day such as love, patience, caring, nurture, independence, peace, compassion, courage , justice, self-sacrifice and unity.

Our children are growing up to be such amazing and positive role models for the children in school and across the world and this makes me so proud to be part of any amazing school and community.

Thank you for all you do.

Kindest regards

Mrs Cuddy
