 Craig Lawrence

 Craig attended Kirk Smeaton Primary School from 1969 - 1974, before moving onto a prep school in   Doncaster and then to St Peter's School in York. After doing a degree at Durham University, he then   joined the Army and the Gurkhas. Craig served with Gurkhas for 34 years, reaching the rank of Major   General, before retiring from the army to become the Course Director at the Royal College of Defence   Studies in London and an author.
 
 Craig has recently released a new book, Gurkha: 25 Years of The Royal Gurkha Rifles which has a foreword   written by His Royal Highness The Prince of Wales   and raises money for charity (as 50% of the author   royalties are being given to the Royal Gurkha Rifles'   Regimental Trust).
